Join us the weekend of the Perseids Meteor Shower for our 1st annual campout at Hickory Hills Park!

Enjoy a relaxing and blissful weekend of Aya dancing, yoga, drum circle, camping, meditation, paddling, hiking, stargazing, relaxing, and more with super friendly folks.

Come for an hour… a day… or stay over and enjoy the whole weekend! Families definitely welcome. Bring the kiddos for a lovely summer weekend outdoors!

AYA
DANCING
with Dani
A delicious blend of simple movements with bursts of freeform bliss, this guided Aya dance meditation will get you up and moving in joyful, friendly community!
DRUM CIRCLE
with Myquawn
Join the flow and enjoy being a part of a community drum circle. Please bring your own drum if you have one, but we'll also have a variety of drums and instruments along to share.
YOGA
with Sarah
Move, breathe, stretch, strengthen, and align in body, mind, heart, and spirit with a lovely guided yoga practice surrounded by the beauty and serenity of Hickory Hills.
ENERGY HEALING
MEDITATION
with Ashley
Slow down, rest, and come home to the peace of the present
moment with a lovely guided energy healing meditation experience.
HEALING
SOUND BATH
with Tim
Bring a blanket and pillow, or chair to make a comfy spot, and simply lie back, rest, and rejuvenate as you receive the healing vibrations of the singing bowls.

• 7:30 PM - Welcoming drum circle with Myquawn
• 9:00 PM - Enjoy s’mores, hangout fireside, or enjoy a hike among the fireflies
• 10:00 PM - Stargazing - enjoy the beauty of the Perseids Meteor Shower
• 10:30 PM - Farewell to folks who aren’t camping
Saturday, Aug. 12th
• Complimentary oatmeal breakfast
• Free time to unplug, relax, and enjoy the park
• 3:00 PM - Yoga with Sarah
• 4:15 PM - Healing Sound Bath with Tim
• 5:00 PM - Dinner break - Enjoy veggie kabobs, brats, & hot dogs with us (provided)!
• 7:00 PM - AYA Dance Meditation with Dani
• 8:15 PM - Energy Healing Meditation with Ashley
• 9:00 PM - Enjoy s’mores, hangout fireside, relax and listen to / make some music
• 10:00 PM - Stargazing - enjoy the beautiful Perseids Meteor Shower
• 10:30 PM - Farewell to folks who aren’t camping
Sunday, Aug. 13th
• Complimentary pancake breakfast
• 10:30 AM - Morning Aya & Yoga class with Sarah & Dani
• 11:45 AM - Break for lunch
• 1:00 PM - Closing drum circle with Myquawn
• Stay and enjoy the park as long as you'd like

Camping
Would you like to camp out Friday and/or Saturday night? Yay! Please DO!
We have reserved a large group camping area and can host lots of folks right next to where all of our scheduled activities will be held. So come join us, everybody! You can simply bring payment and submit your registration on-site as you set up (please bring cash/check for camping fees).
Tent = $13/night*
*can include a 2nd tent for youth too (if, desired)
There's no need to reserve tent camping in advance (there will be plenty of room), but if you'd like to let us know you'll be camping, please do! I'd love that, and will be excited to hear from you!

Helpful info:
• There is a water hydrant (safe for drinking) at our group camp.
• There are (pit) toilets available at our group camp.
• Showers & flush toilets are available for us to use over at the main Hickory Hills campground (a short drive from our group camp).
So much to enjoy at the park!
HIKE
Enjoy a peaceful walk along the well-marked hiking trails throughout the park.
PADDLE
We'll be bringing our canoes and kayaks to share. Feel free to borrow one to enjoy a relaxing paddle out on the lake.
PLAY
Grab a frisbee or ball, and head on over to the playground, basketball court, sand volleyball pit, archery field, or disc golf course!
EXPLORE
The park is beautiful and full of wildlife. Enjoy the bison and elk exhibit, deer, butterfly & firefly chasing, birdwatching, and more!
FISH
Love to fish? Come on out to Casey Lake, where you'll find bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, and catfish!
Unplug. Relax. Connect. Play. Rest and rewild in awesomely friendly community.

Although no registration/fee is needed to attend Perseidsfest, donations to help support this event, and these wonderful offerings with really friendly, passionate, and skilled instructors are encouraged, very much appreciated, and will help to keep this event going strong year after year.
