Giving ourselves permission to feel… sexy.

Ooh, friend…. It’s another one of those weeks where I mostly just have questions…..
Sometimes, we focus on feeling certain things. For example: confident, strong, empowered, centered, grateful, compassionate, agile, mobile, grounded, etc…
This week’s invitation is to explore: what happens if you give yourself permission to feel sexy?
This feeling is just for us, babe. There’s no audience or judge watching you...You don’t need to “look” sexy for anyone else. You don’t need to do “sexy” dance moves for anyone.
In fact, we don’t necessarily need to move any differently than usual (although you’re always welcome to). I’ll have a typical playlist and guide us with typical simple choreography… But, as always, Aya’s not at all about how your dancing looks. Rather, it’s about how your dancing feels.
And that, my friend, is what we’re playing with this week. Can we choose how we want to feel? Can we choose to feel sexy (if we want to)? Can it sometimes be as simple as allowing it?
As we dance, here are some questions for us to perhaps explore:
How does it feel to feel sexy?
Do you typically give yourself permission to feel sexy?
Do you sense any resistance to this focus?
Is it ok to feel/be sexy?
Does giving yourself permission to feel sexy change anything?
Does it change how you move? Or what you sense?
What do you sense in your body, or notice mentally/emotionally when you allow yourself to feel sexy?
Does it affect your energy level?
Does it affect your sense of self?
Do you like how it feels?
Can you feel sexy just sitting? Standing? Being? Walking?
Is it a vibe you can simply embody if you choose?
Do certain songs or ways of moving help?
Is there anything in this exploration that surprised you? Like, did you expect to feel sexy doing _____, but found that _____ is what actually helped you to feel sexy?
As always, can’t wait to see what we discover. See you soon!
With love,
💛 Dani
