This week, we'll practice not only sensing our gratitude in the moment but also expressing it outwardly. We'll practice thanks... giving.
We can explore things like:
How do you show, communicate, or express your thanks?
Who could you express your thanks to today? How?
How might you thank yourself?
How can you radiate your gratitude at home? Work? Out and about?
How does it feel to give thanks? What do you notice/sense?
How does it feel to receive thanks? What do you notice/sense?
Does expressing your gratitude sometimes feel awkward, vulnerable, or even kind of clumsy? If so, you are not alone. I often feel that way too. No problem. Just like anything, we'll just keep on practicing until it gets easier and easier, and more and more comfortable. Step by step, thank you by thank you. Until the gratitude flows really freely and abundantly from our heart out to the world.
