Savoring the moment (pt. 2).

ree

Good morning, beautiful soul!

Ahhhhh.......

I couldn't believe how much last week's focus on "Savoring the moment" helped me to slooooooooow dowwwwwwwn. How 'bout you, friend? How did it feel for you? Did you notice a difference at all?

I loved how the practice of savoring helped me to relax more (let go of rush, rush, hurry, hurry), and tune into the delicious details of the moment. The little itty bitty things. This sensation. That instrument. This breeze. That step of my foot on the soft grass. How great it feels to sway my spine, etc... To just give myself permission to sit and talk with friends and soak up the chance to connect with them while they were in Iowa. It was so great!

To savor.

It's such a small, simple word.

But it feels so different to me.

For me, it seems like when savoring, I give myself permission to slow everything down eeeeeeven more. To enjoy myself eeeeeeeeven more. To notice eeeeeeeven more detail. To really soak up every drop of deliciousness. It feels so.... nourishing.

MMMMMMmmmmmm..... Savoring feels SO GOOOOOOOOD!

So... Let's extend this one, friend! No need to hurry onward to something else. Let's sloooooow down and savor this focus a little longer.

We'll come together. We'll dance. And we'll practice SAVORING the movements, the music, the moment, the togetherness.

We'll tune in: What do you sense? What do you notice? Does going into something with the intention of savoring it change your experience?

As always, can't wait to see what we discover! See you soon!

With love,

Dani
