
This week, we're continuing our deep dive into listening.
Whereas last week we explored more of a broad, receptive, "open up to all of the sounds" kind of listening... this week, we'll play with practicing a bit more specific, intentional, focused listening.
We'll "listen" as a way to focus our focus, and foster a deeper and more intimate connection with the sounds we are choosing to listen to.
While we dance, we'll tune into specific instruments, lyrics, or people's voices as a way to stay present and embodied in the moment, really enjoy the beautiful layers of the music, deepen our listening skills, enhance our movement creativity, and train our ability to focus our focus.
