Ease & just being here now

Writer: DanielleEastmanDanielleEastman

Hello, beautiful soul!

Thanks so much, friends, for another beautiful week of discovery through movement.

Whew! We've been busy exploring a lot of really fantastic foci recently, such as: sensing your radiance, genuine radiance, celebrating our ability to do hard things, what if what you really need is 'more,' coming home through joyful dancing, harmony, and embodying, nourishing, and celebrating our hips. Thank you so much for diving into all of these themes with us. It has been so wonderful to get to learn with and from you as we dance, explore, and share.

This week, we'll take a little breather, and enjoy an integration week. That simply means, instead of diving into a new topic, we'll have some time and space to just enjoy and further integrate what we have already discovered.

We have two sweet little practices we come back to again and again during integration weeks: 1) dancing with ease, and 2) just being here now.

First, we'll simply connect with ease. As we move, we'll invite the sensation of ease into our body. We'll dance with ease, and remind ourselves that there's nothing to prove, and --also-- no need to hold back what ease looks like today. Eaaaaaasy does it. Ahhhhh.... it feels so good! I already can't wait.

We'll also focus on just being here now. We'll stay present in the moment by tuning into and sensing our body as we dance. Sensing our feet as we step. Sensing our arm bones as we splash out into space. Sensing our spines as we soften and flow. We'll tune into the sensations of our body moment to moment as a way to stay really rooted and present.

Both practices are so very delicious; I always look forward to these weeks. See you soon, friends!

Much love,

💛 Dani
